I didn't have breakfast. But i had dinner. It was amazing. I've never stayed in a hotel before. And this was my very first time in plymouth. It was luxurious, calming and it felt like home. If i had all the money in the world, i would either buy this place or come here every month and every year. I've been to scarborough, i've been to leeds and i saved this trip best for last. And best for last it was. The staff felt like a family. Extremely friendly, warm, welcoming, supportive and the attitude was top notch. The food was fantastic. Fresh and healthy. The decorations were beautiful. This city, plymouth, i felt like i was in a different country. It was like a dream come true. And at one point i didn't know whether to walk around the city or stay in the hotel because both are amazing. I highly recommend this to anybody and for anybody. Family, friends, couples, single people, perfect place. And very quiet and peaceful. I loved it here.

The hotel was comfortable. The had a meal in the restaurant on out first evening which was good value for money and enjoyable. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast on the first morning was good not excellent but it was great for the price. The Sunday morning I asked for poached eggs on arrival at breakfast, I asked again while I was in the queue for the buffet food and was told a few minutes. Poached eggs arrived 30 minutes later after I had finished cereal and the cooked breakfast minus eggs. There was a disturbance on our floor during the night, 2am, that woke me and I struggled to get back to sleep. This would not deter me from staying again as the location was good and I would hopefully be able to request a quiet room as we were on the side of the main road.

I stayed at the Leonardo for a week. It was a very enjoyable stay. I had a twin room which was quite spacious. Our room was spotless and the beds comfy. I was on the 5th floor which was lovely and quiet. Although my visit was mainly for pleasure, I did have to work online for 2 days, which also worked well, using the desk in the room. Our room booking included breakfast which has very good. There was both Continental and full English available, together with free tea, coffee and fruit juice. I love the location of the hotel to Drake Circus; to the Royal Parade for bus connections elsewhere and to The Hoe. Our daughter is studying at the University and her accomodation was also within walking distance to the hotel, so it was great all round really.

Nice hotel, very comfy beds, staff very helpful and polite, good breakfast. Easy 5 min walk to shops and 15 min walk to the harbour. Parking is 10 pounds for 24 hrs which is pretty cheap, although we had a late arrival time and the garage was locked up at 11 pm. We had to park in the bingo carpark behind the hotel which wasn't as secure or clean! Overall, we had a good stay and would go back.
